I was responsible for creating 5 different mod-kits that had 100’s of pieces each for the level designers to easily make whatever map they wanted. I also setup various tools ( Audio grid for danger floors, level kit builder, light color palette tool, and a healthy dose of engine mods to fix various level issues ) that helped empower us to create 150+ levels in a reasonable amount of time. These levels would be initially created by the designer and then I would finish it off with lighting and a final cleanup pass. The kit pieces themselves had to follow a specific modeling workflow known as boolean ( air-tight ) modeling. This ensured that we could put a 32px lightmap on an object that is 80meters long without having a crap ton of shadow map bleeding. All of this came together to create something that I am extremely proud of!
